Saturday the 19th of October, marks the return of our Lotus Lunches, with Tom Devitt kindly planning a get together at Lindsay’s Cafe in Falconbridge.
Join us for lunch in this fabulous setting in the Lower Blue Mountains at Falconbridge. Lunch is planned for Saturday, the 19th of October, at 12:30PM. The restaurant is located at 12 Norman Lindsay Cres, Faulconbridge, NSW.
This high quality, friendly. fully licensed restaurant serves delicious fine food & wines that are sourced locally.
The cafe/restaurant forms a part of the estate and historic homestead of the late Norman Lindsay – a famous Australian artist renowned for his sculpture, etchings, and somewhat risque creations of the female form. Norman Lindsay was also the author of the famous Australian children’s novel ‘The Magic Pudding’.
Whilst you are there why not take in a tour of the Norman Lindsay Gallery, which contains not only his artworks, but sculpture and some magnificent ship models as well. Its extensive gardens and bush trails offer one of the most relaxing experiences anywhere in the lower blue mountains.
Entrance to the gallery and gardens is by paid ticket only ($17.00 adults, $15.00 concession). Proceeds go to the National Trust.
Bookings essential to Tom Devitt. Send Seth an email at [email protected].
