1980 Talbot Sunbeam Lotus Mk 1

Offering my 1980 Talbot Sunbeam Lotus Mk 1 for sale. I bought the car from the UK in 2012 and had it shipped to Adelaide. The odometer reads 90,000 miles.

The car has had 4 owners from new. It has current historic registration in South Australia and has been road registered since 2012.

Rust treated from new, the car was given a major overhaul by the previous owner. This included new suspension springs and Bilstein shocks. Brakes, including cylinders, shoes and brake pipes were renewed renewed. A new radiator was fitted along with an SU fuel pump and the Dellorto carbs were re-sealed.

The main servicing that I have been involved with was done by local classic car garage. New timing belt fitted in 2024 and a new clutch in same year. Generally the car is in very good condition and drives well being rear wheel drive and 150hp!
