Lotus Photos: Sandy Bay Tasmania, July 2023

Images thanks to Robert Verhey

Our friends in Tasmania get together most months at Sandy Bay to kick tyres and chat about life, Lotus and everything. Robert Verhey made it to July’s meeting, and very kindly reached out with a few photos that you can enjoy below.

Hobart turned on a beautiful sunny winter’s day for the monthly Sandy Bay meet on Sunday 2 July, and Lotus were well represented, with a particularly fine and very special spec Eclat 2.2 in attendance. Also a beautiful yellow Esprit and green Elan M100 S2 recently arrived from the mainland, now domicile in Tasmania, bringing the tally to two (known) examples of this model south of Bass Strait.

From here the days get longer, the weather warmer, and we look forward to even more Lotus vehicles coming out of the woodwork in the latter half of the year. The next catch-up on the shore of Sandy Bay will be on August the 6th. If you’d like to head along, send Seth an email and he’ll put you in touch with Robert.
