Thanks to John Edmondson
Our February EMR was another successful run with a nice turnout of cars and drivers. Scroll along and enjoy the story and some shots from the day, with thanks to John
We left on time from Guildford and headed out along the Great Eastern Hwy and Toodyay Rd, then onto Campersic Rd before heading up into the hills behind Brigadoon. We travelled along Lancewood (the rollercoaster) before getting on to O’Brien Rd, which has an awesome hill climb section before going past the Peter Brock memorial.
We took the long way for a spited run along a nice twisty road to re-join Tooyay Rd for a few hundred meters before turning off onto Bailup Rd on our way to our comfort stop at the Wundowie Library carpark. Photos were taken with the group and the one with drivers taken by a lovely young local lady who was driving past and stopped to say hi.
After a few laughs and lies told by all it was back on the road heading out through Chidlow and Mt Helena, then back onto Toodyay Rd to reach our destination for lunch and drinks at the Swan Valley Brewery.
Another nice drive with good company that was enjoyed by all attendees.
Thanks to all who came along! Our WA Early Morning Runs head out on the second Sunday of every month and we meet at the Guildford Train Station carpark at 8:00am for an 8:30am departure.
