Our friends in Tasmania get together most months at Sandy Bay to kick tyres and chat about life, Lotus and everything. Robert Verhey made it to the May catch-up, and very kindly reached out with a few photos that you can enjoy below.

The approach of winter and the need to arise before sunrise in Hobart does not seem to deter car enthusiasts from their monthly early morning pilgrimage to Sandy Bay. A fine collection of cars of various marques was on display, with many coffees consumed while peering into gleaming engine bays.

Enjoy the images, and make sure to head down if you’re in the area on the first Sunday of the month. The next catch-up on the shore of Sandy Bay will be on Sunday the 1st of June, 2025.
