23feb8:00 am5:00 pmMG Driver Training Day at HART

Event Details

The MGCC Sydney, in conjunction with HART in St. Ives, Sydney, is holding a driver training day on Sunday the 23rd of February.

Following on from the earlier defensive driver training day at HART, the MG Car Club Sydney has again partnered with HART to learn even more about car control for classic cars. This event will extend the level of driver control, including the use of the wet skid pan to master unexpected skid control, as well as other advanced driving skills on their training circuit. The session will finish with some fast laps of the HART circuit.

Two sessions are available:

  • Morning from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, and
  • Afternoon from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm

A BBQ lunch is included for participants and will bring both sessions together at 12:00pm.

Numbers are strictly limited to 24 drivers for each session.

Each session will be split into two groups, with one group on the skid pan and the other on the track, so there will be plenty of practical tuition and practice.

The event is only open to licenced drivers, including provisional licences (no L-plates). Be sure to bring your driver licence on the day (no Licence – no drive!)
