Sunday the 20th of February found an awesome roll-up of Club Lotus members gathered in the car park of Gough Whitlam Park for our second Tyre Kick of the month. Scroll along, and enjoy a few photos of the day.

After fairly dire weather predictions in the week leading up to the meeting, we woke to a beautiful summer’s morning, complete with sunshine and everything. We brought a wonderful collection of cars to Gough Whitlam Park, capturing the imagination of passers-by with Lotuses old and new, as well as Mike’s new Aston Martin and Michael’s Porsche.

After catching up in the car park around the cars, we enjoyed a pleasant chat and refueling stop in the cafe before heading back into the weekend refreshed and with a good drive under our belts.

The situation at our usual venue for this Tyre Kick, Kokoda Cafe, is still in flux and while we hope to be able to return there next month we have begun investigating other opportunities on that side of the city.
