Lotus Exige Cup 240, last Australian build slot. A very rare, one owner car since new and pampered, hence the outstanding mint condition throughout. I purchased this vehicle via Zagame’s in Melbourne, where she was hand built by a Lotus technician flown out from the UK to construct the Cup 240 limited edition, alongside Deon’s red one. There’s a photo of the two of them alongside each other being built.

The Cup 240 is the first ever supercharged Lotus and already a classic. She was ordered with ‘’delete cage’’ making it easier to get in and out, and has been properly looked after by Simply Sports Cars, with a recent major service there. SSC added a water spray system, exhaust manifold and intake, so she sounds great.

I had the spoiler, side pods and splitter colour matched blue, so she looks even better, and added a stereo system which was deleted from the Cup spec. The wheels are upgraded to genuine (and valuable) Lotus Sport wheels supplied by SSC direct from the factory. She has only covered about 18,000 klm since new and drives and looks as new, as a one owner car collectible car should.
