Our friends in Western Australia kicked off the year with a great turnout to their January early morning run (EMR) on Sunday 11th. Scroll along, and enjoy a few photos from the day with thanks to John Edmondson.

We were pleased to catch up with a good turnout of cars at Guildford for the start of the run, with the standout perhaps being a very rare Tommy Kiara – a car I had never seen in person before.

After the usual gathering around the cars for a chat, we left for the hills just after 8:30am with the only two traffic lights at the start not holding anyone up for a change. After an hour and a half of lots of twists, turns and ups and downs we arrived at our first stop below the Canning Dam for a comfort stop and chinwag.

We left after 45 minutes and headed over more Lotus friendly roads to our lunch destination at the Mundairing Hotel. The run was enjoyed by everyone and we are now looking forward to the February run in 4 weeks time.
