We would like to extend a most cordial invitation for you to join us online via Zoom for the 2020 Club Lotus Australia Annual General Meeting from 7PM on Tuesday the 15th of September.

In recent years we have held the AGM alongside the Christmas party, but with the ongoing concerns and limitations resulting from the prevailing global condition, we have decided to move the AGM online. With Zoom’s prevalence in the workplace and education, as well as with other clubs and communities, it’s a platform many of us will have become familiar with throughout the year. This makes it a reliable choice to host when we’re less able to meet in person.

Details will be emailed to members, and made available on the members’ page here. You’ll be able to participate using your desktop, laptop, tablet or phone. We’ll open the lobby from 6:30PM, so hop on early to have a brief chat while getting set up and coming to a state of cooperation with your technology.

We hope you’ll take this opportunity to join us, share your feedback and ideas and help to shape the Club’s future.

Some Instructions

You’ll be able to join the AGM early to settle in and familiarise yourself with the presentation. Zoom’s application is also available to download right now, so if you’d like to get it installed and try it out before the AGM, please do so via the Zoom website at this link.

Zoom offers comprehensive video instructions on their website. You can get there by clicking this link.

Otherwise, if you have not used Zoom before, once you click the link to join the meeting you will be prompted to download and install Zoom. Please do so. Once the software loads and starts joining the meeting it will ask you for your name – please use one that we will recognize.

You’ll then be placed in a waiting room, from which we will welcome you to the meeting. Once approved, click ‘Join with Computer Audio’ to join the meeting. You’ll also have the opportunity to join with or without video at this point.
