Seeking Volunteers for Our CLA-Hosted CSCA Round 4 At SMSP

We need you!

The Club Lotus Australia hosted round of the CSCA supersprint series at Sydney Motorsport Park is now only five weeks away, and the club is looking for volunteers to assist on the day.

This event is one of the most highly anticipated events on the Lotus motorsport calendar, and the organisers are excited to make it a memorable experience for competitors and volunteers alike.

Volunteers are needed for flag marshalling and other tasks on the day. This year we have to operate 11 flag points, which means 22 volunteers on the flag points alone. If you have never been on a flag point before don’t worry, full training will be provided on the day prior to the event as well as a cheat-sheet to help you on the day, and it’s an exciting day!

Flags and 2-way radios will be issued during this training. Lunch and refreshments will be provided and there are toilets all around the circuit so all your comforts will be taken care of.

If you are competing and have a wife, husband, partner or offspring (over 16 years old) who is not competing, then please consider asking them to volunteer to be a ‘flaggie’, no requirements save clothing wrist and ankle covered (it’s going to be the end of winter so that should be no problem). There is nothing more exciting than being at a flag point and watching the agonizing look on the drivers faces as they go past you!!

If you’d like to assist with this event, please contact event secretary Craig Sheppard by an e-mail to motorsports@clublotus.com.au. We really need your help!
