1963 Lotus Elan S1 Chassis no 26/0205

Convertible roadster with removable hard top. This highly developed Elan raced in period at Warwick Farm, Surfers Paradise etc, and comes with its original log book. Features in Marc Schagen’s Lotus book on page 149.

Set up for track or street use with an engineer’s certificate.

All steel dry sump 1884cc engine just rebuilt with the best components and with dyno sheets showing 200HP. Tuned to run on 98 fuel with an octane boost. Magnesium cased gearbox with Quaife dog straight cut gears. Quaife LSD. New Tillet carbon fibre race seat. Full racing adjustable rose jointed suspension. New Tony Thompson chassis fitted April 2018.

Fitted with almost new Yokohama A050 tyres. Spare set of road wheels with street tyres and street exhaust.

Restored by Richard Wilson (ACT) in the 2000’s and used by him at club events. Sold to Richard Center who further improved it.
