Lotus Stories: Daniel Bando
Club Lotus Australia is full of interesting people doing interesting things with interesting cars.
We want to tell their stories, and through this develop and preserve a written history of the club, its members and their cars. So, when ever we have the opportunity, we enjoy a chat with one of our members to share their story with you right here on the Club website!

Cars 4 Kids in Western Australia
Cars 4 Kids is a charity event held at the Perth International Airport to share the excitement of cars and motorsport with disabled and seriously ill children and their families.
Our Western Australian members were out to support the cause this 7th of March, 2016, and you can read about it in this report by Eddie Lankhorst with photos donated by Tim Allott Tttmsp.
Thanks to Eddie Lankhorst
Monday’s March Labour day holiday was the day to be at the track for kids and families to enjoy.
The Cars 4 Kids event event was a non profit fundraiser for a few childrens charities, who support sick and disadvantaged kids. The day involved many aspects of the motor car, such as exotic car displays, passenger fast rides on the track, drifting exhibitions, burn outs, remote car drifting, and then finishing with a jet powered car experience.
It was a lovely day and we were pleased to be able to support such a worthy cause. For more information on Cars 4 Kids, please visit their website here.
