Calling all Southerners (and those who feel like a drive)! On the second Sunday of each month, we hold a Tyre Kick & Coffee at By the Bay Cafe in Carss Park from 8:30am. Come along and say ‘Hi!’
We meet on the second Sunday of the month at By the Bay Cafe in Carss Park, on Carwar Avenue in Blakehurst. As the name suggests, the cafe has scenic views over the water. It’s easy to access from the south, being a couple of km north of Tom Uglys Bridge, and a parking area is available for us to decorate. We look forward to seeing you there from 8.30am on.
Our regularly-scheduled Tyre Kick & Coffee at Gough Whitlam Park remains as such, and will continue to be held a week later on the third Sunday of the month.

With the action at Gough Whitlam Park subsided, we’re heading back to the location for our Tyre Kick on the third Sunday of each month, with the possibility that Kokoda Cafe may be operational again in the coming months.
On the third Sunday of each month we get together to enjoy each other’s company over a morning coffee and some tyre kicking. To provide a location in our city’s north, the second of our two meetings is held on the third Sunday of the month.
Our Tyre Kick is a relaxed get together that sees us catching up from 9:00am to chat about life, cars and everything for an hour or two.

The return of the day drives from pre-COVID days. This one takes us from Sydney up to Wiseman’s Ferry and thence to Mangrove Mountain, where we can meet the northern contingent. From there we head up to the Hunter Valley for a lunch stop at a suitable (TBC) winery, before heading south on the glorious Putty Road back to Sydney.
South-siders will meet in Macquarie St, outside the RACA (under the Cahill Expressway overpass) at 7:30am.
We can pick up en route at the junction of the Peats Ferry Road and Galston Road at approx 8:15 here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/AYPj7AXbed2xyto98
Next pick up point is either on the road from Galston to Mangrove Mountain, or at The Hub at Mangrove Mountain at approximately 9:45, here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/dsp2Uh6Ws6xUGm558

Join us at the Royal Automobile Club of Australia, 89 Macquarie St, Sydney 2000 on Sunday December 7 for the 2025 Club Lotus Australia Annual General Meeting and Christmas Lunch.
The AGM is of course free for all members, just turn up on the day. And please do – it’s an important opportunity to review the year in the club and the challenges and opportunities it faces going forward, and to catch up with friends. It will kick off at 11am.
Registration is required for the Christmas Lunch and is available through Member Jungle at this link.
Parking is available for Lotus cars (only!) under the club on a first in best dressed basis, but pre-booking is essential on +61 2 8273 2300 (mention Club Lotus AGM)
Lunch will commence around 12:30pm and will be alternate drop mains (barramundi or slow roast Lamb) followed by choice of desserts. Please contact us directly on [email protected] if you require a non-meat non-fish option.
The club will subsidise your meal to the tune of $25 per head (the charge from the Club is $95), making the cost per head $70.
