An Invitation to Supercar d’Elegance’s 2016 Best of the Best Concours – POSTPONED
UPDATE: SUPERCAR D’ELEGANCE HAVE POSTBONED THEIR BEST OF THE BEST & SUPERCAR DISPLAY
The team at Supercar d’Elegance have invited us to join in their 2016 Best of the Best & Supercar Display, although sadly the event has been postponed for a few weeks due to forecast bad weather and other circumstances.
Lotus Photos & Report: CSCA Round 7 at Sydney Motorsport Park’s Amaroo Circuit
On the 22nd of November, 2015, we took to Sydney Motorsport Park’s Amaroo circuit for the final round of the Combined Sports Car Association’s sprinting season.
Our Club Lotus Australia motorsport crew finished the season in fine form with a great day’s sprinting and socialising, and you can catch up on the action thanks to these photos by Senna Alexander.

Take Note! The January 2016 Tyre Kick & Coffee Has Moved!
A very happy New Year to all! We’re kicking off 2016 with our monthly Tyre Kick & Coffee, which for January will be held from 9am on Saturday the 30th at Simply Sports Cars in Artarmon.
We are delighted to announce that the previously-postponed Tyre Kick and Coffee at Simply Sports Cars has been rescheduled for Saturday 30th January.
Please come along for a thoroughly informal coffee and something to dunk in it (that’s a peculiarly British thing to do with your coffee I gather!) from 9am at SSC’s showrooms at 17 Hotham Parade, Artarmon.

Celebrating the Life of Our Friend, Maurice Blackwood
On Monday the 14th of December, 2015, the Lotus community gathered to celebrate the life of our friend, Maurice Blackwood, at Belgenny Farm in Camden.
Ashton Roskill, who spoke beautifully on the day, would like to share a few words on the morning, illustrated by photos kindly shared by himself and Syd Reinhardt.
Take Note! The December Tyre Kick & Coffee Has Moved! Again!
Our pre-Christmas Tyre Kick & Coffee this Sunday the 19th of December has now returned to its original location at Gough Whitlam Park in Tempe.
The team at Simply Sports Cars sends their sincere apologies for the change in plans – they are extremely busy getting all of your Lotuses ready for the holidays, and are unable to shut down works on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning to prepare for and host us.
We’re looking to re-schedule the event in the near future, and Simply Sports Cars have some wonderful ideas to offset this inconvenience – stay tuned!
So, we’ll be heading back to Gough Whitlam Park this Sunday! We will gather at 8AM as usual, and spend a few hours enjoying each other’s company in the presence of some lovely Lotuses, good coffee and perhaps a few mince pies to get into the festive spirit.

This past Sunday, the 6th of December, we got together with our friends to enjoy a wonderful summery drive to the Central Coast and celebrate the year at our annual Christmas lunch.

Vale Maurice Blackwood
It is with deep sadness that we share the news of Maurice Blackwood’s passing.
Maurice and the Blackwood family have been dear friends of the Lotus community for many years, and he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts, support and love go out to his family and friends.
Anne, Jen and James would be very touched if, instead of sending flowers in memory of Maurice, you might consider donating to a very worthy cause, close to their hearts; Beyond Blue.
